The history of the Bürgerspital Weingut goes back almost 700 years. In order to protect itself against the then widespread wine adulteration, the quality mark for high-quality Franconian wines was born here in 1726: Bocksbeutel, the Franconian bottle original. Today, on about 120 hectares of vineyards, mainly the classic grape varieties of the region are cultivated, including the renowned Würzburg vineyards »am Stein«, »Stein-Harfe«, »Innere Leiste«, »Abtsleite« and »Pfaffenberg«. It goes without saying that the concerts in the winery's atmospheric hall are not only accompanied by enchanting music but also by the winery's own top wines.
