full of anticipation we are looking forward to the upcoming Mozartfest season 2024. On this page you will find all information about the advance ticket sales as well as practical hints for attending the concert.

Pupils, trainees and students (up to the age of 30 and on presentation of a valid ID) receive a 50% discount on the ticket price and, subject to availability, can purchase last-minute tickets from 10 minutes before the start of the performance in all categories at a fixed price of € 12. The offer of last-minute tickets is also valid for holders of the Bavarian Volunteer Card.
Likewise, holders of a severely handicapped pass with the symbol "B" and their accompanying person receive a 50% discount on the ticket price. Diner events are excluded from the discounts.
Accessibility
Among our venues are numerous historic buildings. Many of them are barrier-free, unfortunately not (yet) all of them.
Please note that the following venues are unfortunately not barrier-free: Residenzweinkeller, tour on the grounds of the Erlöserschwestern (June 04/05)
The following venues are only accessible to a limited extent: grounds of the Würzburger Hofbräu GmbH , Wertheim Castle, tour on the grounds of the Exerzitienhauses Himmelspforten (June 13/14), Würzburg Golf Club, St. Burkard

How can I redeem my Mozartfest voucher?
Value and gift vouchers issued by the Mozartfest Würzburg can be redeemed in the ticket office and in the webshop for payment of your ticket order. To pay a received invoice by voucher, please send us the voucher or the 26-digit voucher number printed on it by e-mail.
What data do I have to enter when buying tickets?
Customers of the Mozartfest-Webshop must provide their adress and e-mail adress to purchase tickets. Providing a telephone number is voluntary and simplifies further communication in case of short-term queries or information about the event.
Is there a waiting list for fully booked events?
If there are no more tickets available for a desired event or price category, you have the possibility to register on the waiting list in the Mozartfest-Webshop. We will contact you by phone or e-mail if we can fulfill your ticket request at short notice.
Can I exchange or return purchased tickets?
There is no entitlement to ticket redemption or exchange of paid concert tickets - also due to program/performance changes or in case of officially ordered access requirements. A refund of purchased tickets will only be made in the event of a concert cancellation by the organizer.
Box office and admission
The evening box office/daytime box office usually opens one hour before the start of the performance, please refer to your concert tickets for the exact admission time. Tickets reserved at short notice must be collected up to 30 minutes before the start of the performance. Tickets not collected by then will be offered for sale again. Late admissions after the start of the concert will only take place during concert breaks or at a time determined by the organiser.
Please note that payments by giro or credit card are only possible at the ticket office, the Residenz box office and at selected outdoor venues. At all other venues, only cash payment is possible, this also applies to the box office of the Nachtmusik at the Hofgarten.
Special features of the venues
Please note that some of the venues differ from modern concert halls in terms of acoustics, climate and construction. This applies in particular to the listed rooms in the World Cultural Heritage Würzburg Residence, which cannot be air-conditioned even in summer temperatures for conservation reasons. In addition, technical installations may occasionally cause visual obstructions which do not entitle the holder to ticket returns or discounts.
Wardrobe
A wardrobe and lockers are available in the Residenz Würzburg. Please note that backpacks and larger bags must be deposited there and may not be taken into the concert hall.
Open-air concerts
If an open-air concert has to take place in the specified alternative venue due to weather conditions, a different seating plan will apply and there will be no entitlement to a ticket refund. In case of weather-related cancellation of a concert within the first half of the program without continuation in the alternative venue, there is a right to a refund or partial refund of the ticket price.
Food, drinks and animals may not be brought onto the premises of the open-air concerts.
Image and sound recordings
Private picture, sound and video recordings of any kind are prohibited during the performance. With the purchase of tickets, all visitors agree to image and/or sound recordings as well as live video stream transmissions of their person during an event. The use of the material is possible for the organizer without any claim to remuneration.
