Des Pudels Kern

The podcast Des Pudels Kern is a conversation series around classical music, pop, philosophy, art and science. Together with their guests, Elisa Erkelenz and David-Maria Gramse aim to offer direct access to music and what it has to say: about the beauty of the world and the crises of time. For two seasons now, they have been connecting musicians with people from different areas of society: from martial arts to cosmology.

The Mozartfest supports the inspiring show in cooperation with its podcast partner Krick.com. Des Pudels Kern and the Mozartfest are not just closely connected through sponsorship, but especially through content. In episode seven of the first season, Isabel Mundry, Artiste ètoile 2022, was a guest on the podcast as and examined the question of what gets under the skin together with tattoo artist Seb Winter. Furthermore Elisa Erkelenz and David-Maria Gramse were part of the MozartLabor, there they created a discourse format in their section together with scholars. The result was a live podcast with violinist Carolin Widmann and street worker Burak Caniperk, which was the final piece of the season.
