You have an option for using the order form or the request form on www.mozartfest.de to order tickets. Processing takes place after receipt of orders; confirmations will be issued in January
2018. Friends and supporters of the Mozart Festival enjoy, subject to availability, a preferential right of first refusal.
General advance bookings from 15 January 2018
With the beginning of general ticket sales, our ticket office at the City Hall will be open. From this point, you will have an option for purchasing tickets in person at the office, by phone or via our website. You can also pay for and collect tickets you have already ordered directly on the spot.
Prices and Fees
A system fee of € 0.50 will be charged per ticket, a processing fee of € 4.00 per order with shipping. Please note that we do not mail tickets abroad. A service fee of € 4.00 will be charged per order if paid by credit card. We are not obliged to refund or exchange tickets. Remaining tickets may only be resold at the original price.
After your written order or order by telephone, you will receive an invoice. Please pay the invoice amount within 14 days, afterwards, the ticket reservation will no longer be upheld. Upon receipt of your payment, your tickets will be mailed or deposited at the ticket office or at the (evening) box office. Please note, that we do not mail tickets abroad.
Payment of your invoice is possible by bank transfer. From 15 January 2018, you can pay for and collect your ordered tickets at the office. If you pay and collect the tickets at the office, the processing fee of € 4.00 will not apply.
Please note that at the ticket office and the evening box office in the residence you can pay in cash, with EC-card and credit card (VISA and MasterCard). In all other venues, you can only pay cash at the evening box offices.
Students and trainees (before their 30th birthday and with valid ID):>
- 50% discount on the concert ticket price
- Last-Minute-Tickets: 10 minutes before the start of the concert in every category for € 12.00 (subject to availability at the box office)
The accompanying person of a disabled person (with ID) gets a 50% discount on the ticket price.
Open air concerts and Gala-Diners are exempt from discounts.

You are looking for tickets to a concert that is already sold out or you cannot come and want to offer your tickets for private sale? You can use our ticket market in the categories Search/Offer. Purchased tickets can only be resold at the original price.
Cast and programme are subject to change. We are not obliged to refund tickets even in the event of changes. The box office usually opens one hour before the beginning of the concert, for the exact time of entrance please refer to your ticket or www.mozartfest.de. Reserved tickets must be picked up half an hour at the latest before the event begins. Please note that cashless payment is only possible at the evening box office in the Residenz by german EC card and credit card (VISA, MasterCard). Belated admission is only permitted in intermissions or at a time specified by the festival staff. Recordings as well as the use of mobile phones in any way are prohibited during an event. Visitors consent to photographic and sound recordings as well as livestream broadcasting via internet of their person during an event. The Mozart Festival shall have the right to use the material concerned without creating an entitlement to remuneration.

Conditions of Particular Venues
Please be aware that some of the venues differ from modern concert halls in terms of acoustics, indoor climate and architecture. Please also bear in mind that tickets in the lower price range may imply that your view of the stage is partially, considerably or in some cases totally impeded. Futhermore, technical equipment may cause visual obstruction, which entitles neither to refund tickets nor to demand a price reduction.
Information on Open-air Concerts
If due to inclement weather an open air concert is being held at an alternative venue, a different seating plan will apply, and there shall be no entitlement to take back the ticket(s). If a concert is aborted due to inclement weather during the first half of the programme, there shall be an entitlement to a refund of the ticket price in whole or in part. If an ongoing performance is aborted after at least half of the programme has been completed, then (as is customary for open-air events) the service concerned shall be deemed to have been rendered, and there shall be no entitlement whatsoever to a refund or exchange.
