The former Cistercian abbey Bronnbach, founded in 1151, is located in the lower Tauber valley in the district of Wertheim. From 1803 to 1986, the monastery was owned by the royal house of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg. Since its acquisition by the district of Main-Tauber, this important cultural monument has been restored and brought back to life with the support of the state of Baden-Württemberg.
With the support of the city of Wertheim, concerts for kids and musical/literary programs take place as part of the Mozartfest.
